Why this exists
Voting shouldn't require a research degree.
We pull public data from the BLS, Census, and NCES and grade each governor against three standards: how their state compares nationally, how it compares to similar peers, and how it's changed since they took office.

How the grade is built
Every metric gets a 0–100 score blending three benchmarks: national average (33%), regional peer states (33%), and trend during the governor's tenure (34%). The composite becomes an A+ to F.
