GovGrade exists because deciding whether to re-elect a leader shouldn't require sifting through partisan media. We pull verifiable public data — unemployment, poverty, education, income, debt — and apply the same formula to every state.

No party gets a head start. No politician gets the benefit of the doubt. The math is open, the sources are linked, and you can disagree with the formula by reading the methodology page and telling us why.

v1 covers all 50 US governors. Mayors of the largest cities are next. Beyond that: live data pipelines from BLS and Census, congressional report cards, and state-level legislative bodies.
